Mal Guest
Managing Director
Mal has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years, with extensive experience with Eagle Star and Zurich insurance before moving to Source Insurance, a software led insurance broker, as Managing Director in 2004. Mal later led the general insurance businesses within the LSL Property Insurance Group. He most recently worked for a digital online mortgage broker as CEO.
Liam Pritchard
Operations Director
Liam graduated from Swansea University in 2009 with a degree in Actuarial Studies. Liam joined Red Apple in 2010, joining the senior management team as the Head of Finance in 2013. In 2017, Liam became Head of Operations for Red Apple Finance after being project lead as well as the functional architect for the software platform.
Jonathan Pinkerton
Finance Director
Jon joined the Red Apple Finance board in 2020 having previously worked for one of The Big Four consultancies and leading UK financial institutions. Jon brings with him significant expertise in both insurance and consumer credit, which will enable Red Apple Finance to deliver exceptional solutions for our clients. Jon is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Amy Fardo
Customer Service
Amy joined Red Apple Finance in December 2018 as a Customer Service agent. Amy has a degree in American Studies, including a year of study at the University of Southern Mississippi. Amy has over ten years’ experience in customer services and administration, in multiple industries with a wide range of roles, including complaints handling, business development, back-office administration and technical support for Sky TV and The Royal Mint.
James Williams
Lead Software Developer
A graduate in Software Engineering, James joined Source Insurance way back in 2002. Having worked as a developer on a huge range of systems, James subsequently became Development Lead, helping to create the software platform we see today. James and his highly capable team manage the software and keep it operating at peak performance.
Gary Thompson
Software Developer
Gary joined the software development team for Red Apple Finance’s software product in 2016, bringing his experience from previous developer roles within the home insurance and travel industries. With a keen interest on emerging technologies, Gary aims to keep existing and new software systems in line with current software development principles and practices.
Katie Glenn
Software Developer
Katie holds a degree in Computer Science from Cardiff University, and has over 7 years’ experience working in various areas of property and insurance software. She joined the Red Apple Finance development team in late 2020, having worked on other Red Apple Finance systems since 2016.
